Succulents in tiny wooden pastel planters! need i say more? these are so cute. Succulents are the perfect low maintenance plant for those, like me, who lack green thumbs. These can sit on window sills or stay outside and are just too damn cute on coffee tables! You can even put fake plants in these. I found these cute set of little planters on Etsy for $35. The producer of these also makes a range of wooden decor.

For the more ambitious gardener Terrariums are becoming super popular as well, and as I discovered, are the perfect gift for the discerning gardener. Put simply, Terrariums are tiny little gardens in glass containers.These quite happily exist inside and need very little water. I found this terrarium for a steal at Ezibuy for $30.
